▍Application Information
 

Eligibility

This opportunity is limited for students who are currently enrolled in our partner schools with whom NTHU has an academic agreement. if you are expected to graduate from your home university during your stay at NTHU, you are NOT eligible for this exchange program.

 


Nomination Period

Fall semester : February 1- April 1
Spring semester : September 1- October15
*The applicant need to ask the university coordinator to nominate through the online system first and we will send you the application link to complete the application process.
 


Application Period

Fall Semester: February 1- April 15
Spring Semester: September 1- November 1
*Application should be completed before or on the due date. Late or incomplete application is not acceptable.

1. An completed exchange student online application form
2. An official copy of the applicant's current transcript
3. A study plan  
4. A copy of passport or other document verifying nationality
5. An official copy of your home university enrollment record
6. An application checklist
 


Academic Programs

 
 
*The English course for fall semester will be delivered in every late June and for spring semester will be in the early December in the previous year.(The applicant can check the course for the reference for the previous academic year through this link).
 


Course selecion requirement

In NTHU, the undergraduate Exchange Students are request for enroll at least 3 courses, the graduate Exchange Students are request for enroll at least 1 course. (Student needs to take at least one course from the department he/she belongs to and  takes course from different department.)

▍Tuition
 
Based on the signed academic agreement and the exchange program, international exchange students recommended by our sister school will have their tuition fee waived while on exchange at NTHU, but students will be responsible for their own living expenses. 
 
 
Dormitory fee
Dormitory fee for undergraduates NT$ 6,370～16,660
Dormitory fee for graduates NT$ 10,170～27,800

▍FAQs

1. What are the requirements for applying NTHU exchange program?
Students who are currently enrolled in schools with whom NTHU has signed an academic exchange student agreement. The students should also be citizens of foreign countries.
 
 
2. What do I have to do to complete the application?
Application is finished when the following documents are uploaded via online application system before due date.

3. Is the application form available online?
